I'm a Donegal man originally. I went to school in Cashel na gCorr, which is about two and a half miles from Gort a' Choirce. All my primary education was through Irish.
There was less of it in secondary school, much less by the time I got to the Leaving Cert. I spoke both Irish and English at home.
